How it all got started

and where it’s going.

Back in 2015, my sister asked if I could stay with her while she recovered from heart surgery and what I thought would be an easy and quick vacation with my sister really became the catalyst to a dive I decided to take— deep into caregiving. The universe sort of set it up for me; after she was back to her usual self, I returned to my Southern California hometown to a job at a local family owned care facility. There I learned about death, really learned. I sat with it, held its hand, watched it approach nearer until finally inviting our friend along for the ride. I learned that death is not always steady and observant, it can be abrasive and sudden, and it can leave peace and pain both in its place. It occurred to me that time never stopped or slowed down through the process, it carelessly barreled on through.

Now, many years and a long-term Seattle residency later, I have committed to slowing that time down for others and lending a space for them to reflect, grieve, and prepare for death. After working in care off and on for a while, I studied with Going with Grace where I received a universe of beneficial information that I can’t wait to pass on. I personally offer a range of services created to provide support and guidance through death and all that comes along with it.

It is my goal to introduce you all to the community that supports me most through my own life and death experiences. We are actively developing a sister site in which you can benefit from the services provided by professionals equipped with skills that you or I may not be able to offer ourselves— a place you and others can grieve during a pandemic, learn the perfect flow to get you in a healthy head space, and even what type of homegrown medicine might keep you coziest after a long day.

Book a consultation to get in touch, we can work together to find the perfect package for you or I can offer more information about what’s to come.
